If you choose to take the train, the Lisbon-Cascais journey takes 40 minutes from Cais do Sodré station (which has a connection with the metro, green line). There are trains every twenty minutes .
If you prefer to travel by car between Lisbon and Cascais, you will find a great advantage: you can enjoy the view of one of the most beautiful coasts in the country. From Lisbon city center, go to Belém, take the N6 road, which follows the Tagus River and then the Atlantic Ocean. You will pass through cities such as Oeiras, Carcavelos, Parede and Estoril. This route is 30 km long and takes an average of 40 minutes. Parking in Cascais city center is not very easy. Always remember to check if you are parking on a street with a parking meter, to avoid possible fines. You can also opt for private parking.
