Q. What is the registration deadline for the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon?

Registration must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday 4 March, 2025. (Registration is closed) or before if sold out.

Q. How to register for the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon event?

All registration are online. After creating your account (or after logging in to your profile wanago / Njuko), you'll just have to fill out a form and make a secure payment.

Q. How much does it cost to participate in the Half Marathon or 10 km)?

ENTRY FEE.

Q. I can't make it to number pick-up. How can I get my race number?

If you can't make it to number pick-up, you can send someone to pick it up for you. A photocopy of some form of I.D. (valid forms of ID include, driver's license, passport, etc.), for the absent runner along with a note granting permission for the race number and packet to be picked up must be presented in order to have someone else pick up your number. You can choose the option to drop off the bib at your hotel in Lisbon.

Q. Who can register?

The race is open to all athletes, sport federation members and non members of Portuguese Athletics Federation or foreign nationality. In order to formalize your registration, you must enter the registration page and follow the instructions.

Q. How can I reach the Start area?

Please see our page about transportation on the day of the race.

Q. Will there be a place where I can check my gear ?

Sorry, there is no gear check.

Q. How do I pick up my race number?

On presentation of an identification card I.D. and the official confirmation letter, bibs are to be collected at the event Expo:

  • Thursday, March 6, 10:00am to 8:00pm
  • Friday, March 7, 10:00am to 8:00pm
  • Saturday, March 8, 10:00am to 8:00pm
Q. What is the minimum age to participate?

Participants of the Half Marathon must be at least 18 years of age and 16 for 10 Km, as of March 9, 2025 in order to be allowed to participate.

Q. Can I transfer my entry to someone else?

Under no circumstance are you permitted to pass your entry onto someone else.

- We cannot process name changes.

Q. How can I check my registration?

This does not concern registrations made via other platforms

Q. Something came up and I can no longer participate. Can I get a refund?

We're sorry, but we are unable to offer refunds. As stated on the application, race fees are not refundable, nor are they transferable from year to year. Once you are signed up, fees are used for event expenses and cannot be returned.

Q. What if I need to quit part way through the race ?

If you feel that you will be unable to complete your distance and need to drop out, walk and look for a course volunteer for assistance.

Q. Is there race day race/packet pick-up/race switching?

NO !

Q. Are there any showers available for the runners at the finish?

Sorry, there are no showers available.

Q. Is there a course time limit ?

The cut off time for the event of the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon is 03.00 hours, 10K included

Q. Is the race course marked ?

Yes, The race course is duly marked and officials will be located all along the route .

Q. Bib/Chip, where should I place it?

Your bib must be pinned to your chest, without being folded, as required by the international Federation IAAF and FPA rules). This is very important because if you do not respect this simple rule, the timing system will not detect you and you will not be classified.

Q. Can I pick up the race package of a friend?

Yes, you can. You must have the original confirmation document and copy of the person’s photo ID.

Q. I have entered the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon but I got injured and will not be able to run the 21km. Can I switch my registration to the Vodafone 10K?

Yes, you can switch your EDP Lisbon Half Marathon into a 10Km distance. You must inform that you want to change to Vodafone 10K when you pick up your race number at the international desk.
To switch to a longer distance, participants will be credited what they've already paid toward the current price of the distance they wish to run.
Sorry there are no refunds for entry fees if you cannot participate.

Q. Are pace makers available on course ?

Yes, there will be pace makers for the following times:
4:00 / Km
4:15 / Km
5:00 / Km
5:30 / Km.

Q. Will there be start line corrals?

Yes, there will be four areas of start, assigned based on the estimated finish time you provided when you registered There will be pace signs in the starting area. Please line up accordingly.

Q. How can I pick up my BIB and T-shirt if I lose my confirmation document?

You can recover your confirmation at the “Check your registration” field on the site or at the Solutions booth at the Sport Expo.
